Scientist tell us that lightning Goes from the earth to the skies, But, truthfully, it happens way to fast, To be verified by my aging eyes' Something was struck, For I heard a large boom. And the lights were immediately, Un-Operable in every room. The storm lasted mere minutes, While the power outage lasted for hours. There was nothing we were able to do, Until we had a restoration of power. Sometimes that's the way with my spiritual walk; I've cut off the power to live what I talk. Yet, there is no need to wait for the utility crew, I can once again let the power flow through. By reading God's word and making time to pray, Soon, I will find abundance of Power coming my way' To quote the words, Spoken by Jesus my Lord. "Faith comes by hearing, and re-hearing His word."
