Yesterday...Today...Tomorrow
My past is my past It is what is what it is. I am longer going to apologize. My mistakes are mine and mine alone. But without those mistakes where would I be? You see I am what I am and who I am because I made the mistakes that I did make. So what? Do not judge me for my past and past alone. Today I am a woman of many things. I am a mother who is denied her kids. I am a wife but thank the Lord not for long. I am a sister who tries to hard and not enough. I am friend to all of those that wants me as a friend. In my present I know who and what I am. I know what I want now and who I want. I know that my life choice is not an easy one But because I am who I am I can do anything. Tomorrow is always uncertain It is never guaranteed to be what you want. All I know is that I look forward to tomorrow As yesterday is Gone and today almost is. Tomorrow is another day to try And get right what I could not yesterday. Tomorrow may be the day that I For once can and will finally shine.
