My broken heart just thumps along, As I try to find where I belong, But the emptiness consumes me whole, Leaving me with a hollow soul. I try to pour out all my pain, But my words seem to be in vain, For in this emptiness there's no one around, No caring, no feel, no sound. My thoughts and emotions are in a blur, As I search for a glimmer of hope to occur, But all I find are empty echoes, In this void of emptiness that seems to grow. I want to break free, to feel alive, But in this emptiness, I struggle to survive, My numbness moves along, As I try to find where I belong.
