As life goes on and years go by, the shadow stretches tall. So when the shadow chases time and each day spreads its wings, I carry on and live my life while doing many things. As years go by and knowledge grows, the shadow grows as well. Those days I pondered shadow length, it urged me to excel. The time affects my life and breath. It’s like a brutal lord. It whips my shadow like a steed. They work in one accord. So how can I redeem the time, and slow the shadow’s sprint? I strive to see my life become much more than just a glint. I must confirm my life is more than something I have wrought. I’ve made my peace with God above. My shadow fades to naught.
