Pen Friends the World Over
During the 70s I felt really so alone so joined a Penpals Worldwide club this I really enjoyed meeting new friends watching for a mailman hoping for a flood In the UK I had a few of them remember Janet and Janice across the border also written a lot to Jane in Wales so good to receive letters in any order We exchange photos with each other remember in Germany there was lovely Brigitte who was a really attractive blonde enjoyed reading her pen, such a hit A special friend was Joan in Chicago we first, exchanged letters, them onto tapes so nice to hear each other's voice we sent each other sweets of various shapes But never met one another though I did check price of a flight then I met my future wife Jean so Joan and I ceased to write I often wonder where they're now and wish life for them has been clear trust they're happy and at peace still loved the penful memories of yesteryear (In the 70s, I remember such happy times of having many penfriends across the world, it was a blessed time of happy memories, but often wonder where they all are now.)
