Anchor
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19?-?20 NIV In darkness once drifting away No control of the direction of the sail Ropes had all came untied To and fro tossed back and forth Never reading the map before leaving Believed in my own guidance You have heard men hate asking for directions Would rather drive in circles Not the first time I would Have to learn the hard way But in this moment when seeking guidance In knowing there was something I was missing All , became calm with a new vision An anchor grabbed my soul in an instant Having Jesus to pull up the curtain From then on excited to be a crew member Who else could control the wind And bring the mind to ease in Stillwater. Many others try to convince There boat is faster Some say there's holds more people Some might say this one is unsinkable We have the best metals one could buy In response, saying this one was made Without the hands of man Are things to parrish When one has found the true one Stay in it for this one is heading home. All glory to Jesus in being The anchor unto a soul to cling to Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Ephesians 4:14 NIV
