Little Angel
A little angel, with tears in her eyes, tries to hide her broken wing. Keeping it furled to reduce it's size, hoping no one would notice a thing. Soon it would be time for angels to fly, their mission to assist mankind. Though weary the angel continues to try, though she knows she will be left behind. She doesn't want God to know, that she chose to do the wrong thing, She went to where oceans flow, hearing the music made her heart sing. But angels were not to travel alone, all trips below were to be shared. The little angel went on her own. Broke her wing, was hurt and scared. Her only option was to confess, how she had broken her wing. Her sorrow she would profess, softly asking for just one thing. Facing God, she asked him to forgive her sin. He observed her, but had nothing to say. But, when she saw his gentle smile begin, she gave a joyful thank you, and flew away.
