New Technology
You suggested I order the Blackberry Bold. (Bold choices had never been my forte.) I trusted your judgement, Deferred to your greater experience, (Subsequently I learned that was not so great) And picked it out. At first I liked how it felt in my hand And the way the camera lens captured images. It seemed easy and transparent, Which was a pleasant surprise. Before I knew it I got comfortable And trusted it to keep me organized and together. Therein lies my mistake: Never trust a new technology. The Bold was a moody little device -- It shut down at the strangest times. And it shut me down in consequence. So I wrote you a note of gratitude: "Thanks for making my choice so easy. I hate indecisiveness. It's such an unattractive quality." I lied to you, salvaged the former device, And deleted you from my contacts. Messaging takes more time now. I've slowed outgoing communications Generally speaking. Still, it seems I have all I need to get by. Perhaps I always did.
