Dear Heart
DEAR HEART Hello, my dear heart… yes, my own oldie, goodie heart. I need to have a heart to heart talk with you, seriously. You and I know of the many prospects for “dear heart” I let go for decades because I did not want to be bothered with the loop-de-loop of relationships, so we stayed put; however, time changes things, as well as my perspectives. My open mind welcomed my new life perspectives, like everything being temporary, being thankful for what I have, enjoying and celebrating me and living life at the present by giving and receiving love, laughing and smiling. To my surprised, I unexpectedly found “dear hearts” that brought me that wondrous feeling of “a natural woman”. As things are temporary, I let them go after getting too close and knowing their characteristics, the good ones and the quirks. I would not say I had no patience because they were long term, almost two years and longer than two years; but I could not put up with the quirks, although the good times were so, so sweet. Or did I just follow you, my dear heart in letting them go? My dear diminutive heart, you know I am not getting any younger. Yet, you are so strongly picky, choosy and kind of astute with men. I don’t have a “dear heart” at this time; but I have a platonic one for more than a year now with a fine gentleman with no quirks. We always have a blast, dancing, singing, talking and laughing; but he does not have a twin… why is life so unfair, my dear heart? 1/30/23 Dear Heart Mystic Rose Rose
