To Live Just For Me
How many more nights must I endure With wells of salty watery tears filling my eyes With words of hate storming my ears With smells of anger going through my nose With a bolus of agony sinking down my throat? I have come a long way, keeping it all aside; Focusing on the one goal that lies ahead The goal I set way back when I was a toddler Saying to myself that my heart was made of iron Iron vanished that it would never rust, Neither in the presence of requirements nor in their absence I have been think about how and when to give up To lock myself in exile with ears closed and eyes as well To take a brief break from home and work and life Till,a day comes, when I'll see my breakthrough But I remembered how I need people, Who I want to run away from. I'm still thinking about it, and I want to stop thinking about it To learn how to let go and welcome peace To hold on till the new dawn gets here, To live for just one person here on earth To live just for me.
