But God Knows Better
It's been like forever since you've gone, But in my heart you ne'er set like the sun, For I'm your son in whose heart you live forever, Till Jannah when we dwell again together; All my dreams have been about you dad, Atanda that groomed me to be a happy lad. I never thought that one day I'll write this letter, But we say Alhamdulilah because God knows better; Every human is your family, For you're a man with compassion and empathy. How would I have known that you'll be away? Dad your thoughts are my food everyday; Things haven't been the same since you've gone, For it seems my cap is stolen and my garment torn. Every words I say prays and remember you sir, For you're one in a million- a shinning star; How I wish you could read this letter, You're now in Jannah and God knows better. Miss you Dad!
