Glass
I feel like there has been some confusion I feel like something is out of proportion I think the only solution Is to try to take you out of this grand illusion (The whispers, the whispers...) They relish in the thought to tarnish it and then demolish where you stand extinguish what is left till you can no longer distinguish between dream and nightmarish. (The Soul...) It turns to glass can see through but can not pass the other side is within reach this is a lesson you can not teach. (The Mind...) Stuck in the past grew up way too fast yet emotionally childish and even with this knowledge What I seek I cant accomplish I try to speak it comes out gibberish like I'm speaking another language. (The Body...) I'm breaking but have never broken, I've bruised and been swollen Feverish and dying Sick, painful, and crying Kept it to myself for fear they'd think I was lying. (The Voice...) It wasn't your time to go But it was time for you to know That you will never again be alone To you, I have shown No longer just an echo Now forever I'm your shadow. (The End...) Fragile yet unbreakable, and now turned to glass I let you look through it can you see at last? Do you want to go back and try to unsee I could disappear if you want me to Just fade into a memory then fade away entirely...
