Cliff
*Image of Pala au & Nanahoa by Historic Hawaii AUDIO: Couplet read VIDEO: Unique Okala Island Off Monumental Cliffs of Moloka'i Cliff Cliff's supply the bemused aback. Amassed jaws sink as all stand back, tourist gawks, at paired land splendors. First; mountain cliffs for ascenders. The world's tallest, *Mauna Kea. **Mount Everest, Himalaya, true disingenuous measure, our true win, by countermeasure. First cliff; two peaks of sovereignty, Mauna Loa, a sphere not peaky. It's an active shield volcano, unlike its twin, eruptions no, dormant now for five thousand years. Nineteen-eighty-four, Loa full gears! Not much for skiers, but still they test, if not the former, it's the rest. A graceful sloping guides one up. Challenging one, reasons buildup. The mind-boggling ventures lasting, transcending day's light contrasting. Vistas outstretching, eyed surrounds, romantics playing hare and hounds. Breathtaking views, resplendent skies, Islands of the Blessed ... paradise. So it's one of two, paired they'd be, twin peaks, awe, another to see. They own most of our island's shore, either tall or low, both adore. Beaches are golden, or white sands, largely made of coral off strands. Ebony reign supremely south, lava-made, tourist word-of-mouth. Maroon sand; rich red cinder rock. Shamrock sand; shelf green algae stalk. Gold, white, black, red, green fine coarse coast. Beachfront, plus offshore, each self-boast. Another proposed cliff offshore is an isle must-see, plus explore! Beaches sway hearts, these will stem them, seize your breath, purring your eardrum. In part; ***Nanahoa sea cliff. There you'll notice the Phallic Rock where in age-old times, women would pray, give gifts, ensure birth has its way through Nanahoa, obsolete god of potency, left women awed. Encountered at the cliff's summit ... awesome sight for Halley's comet. The island of Moloka'i hosts this, and another gutsy, suitably characterized, scopes these venturesome emerald slopes. Peter Cottontail Bunny tracks midst the grass, meadows, to climax. Ireland exact, lads and lasses, as peerless edged by the masses. A daunting plunge, "Peek but don't SLIP!" "Yet, dramatic, it's worth the TRIP!" ****Pala'au cliff, great scenic punch, frame by frame, drink juice, and have lunch. Superb spot for a lover's tryst, glories of nature in the midst. Two phenomenal cliffs. Shown two mountains, and two cliffs with a view. *33,480 ft submarine base (13,796 ft above sea level)--TALLEST MOUNTAIN **29,032 ft sub-range Himalayan base (above sea level)--HIGHEST MOUNTAIN ***1,500-foot summit, Nanahoa sea cliff--HIGHEST CLIFF ****3,000-foot summit, Pala'au north face cliff. Leper colony of Kalaupapa was established by Father Damien after a royal decree by King Kamehameha V banned leprosy from the islands except there--TALLEST CLIFF 2022 January 14 *2nd Place* C Form - Couplet ~~Constance La France: Judged 2022 January 30
