The One
I’m the one here, the one that just can’t let go While she’s the one there with you who claims to love you so I’m here lost inside all my pain She’s the one who will never love you as I do, no not even close to the same I’m the one ready and willingly to prove all my love to you She’s the one in which you never know with just what she’s going to do I’m the one still standing here waiting with however it’s really supposed to be She’s the one who will do whatever it takes to keep you away from me I’m the one who wants you any way I can have you, even to be friends, just to have you here in my life She’s the one who will just keep causing you great strife I’m the one who’s down upon my knees She’s the one who don’t seem to understand how to please So when will you open your damn eyes and clearly see Look at it for what it truly is, that to your heart I’m the one with whom still holds the key
