I'M Sorry
I don’t think there’s anything I can say here that I haven’t said to you already. But I’d like to say it again in a more articulate manner without the distress of our last meeting, with the hope that I might show you how truly sorry I am. When someone looks back in time they can pick out everything they did wrong, but what some easily let slip their minds is that we are all human and we do come with flaws. I understand mine are bigger then most, but I don’t want you to hold on to that memory of me forever. I ask you to believe that this mistake of mine did not happen in a moment of hate or unfaithfulness, but rather a moment of absent-minded selfishness that I’d like to erase. One of your most notable characteristics is your beautiful eyes, and I hated seeing them filled with tears that I caused. It was like they were suffocating me every time I looked at you. I never want to put pain upon you like that again. I can understand that you may never want to speak to me again, but I don’t know how much of that I can take. I am ripping my insides out with guilt and regret. I just want to be with you again. I cannot retract what I did. I can only offer infinite apologies and a promise to never bring you sadness. If I have been half the person to you that you’ve been to me, then I ask you to forgive me or hope that you’ll at least consider it.
