Nature's Child
Katrina was a lonely child Who just couldn’t fit in All by herself she’d play alone And just begin to spin To hide rejection, to forget Kept going until dizzy To fill the empty hole through her Confusion kept her busy Her toys would fly and make a mess She wouldn’t stop to care Cause if she did her soul just might Expose her naked stare They teased her then chased her away And even though she’d try To keep her secret locked inside She’d run away and cry In her abode, unknowingly Her mother just awoke From her sweet slumber, suddenly She almost too did choke On tears pushed up into her throat And cause her eyes to burn Enraged by a daughter’s heartache She too would start to turn And seek out those who brought this on Both ladies now been scorned Revenge to avenge and protect her own A powerless wrath adorned
