My Soul Is a Hole I Can'T Fill, Much Less Dig
A soul (if it’s real) is a hole no man’s labor can fill, or a woman’s charms decorate! Marriages, friendships all fail to make whole what gets shut off from God. Not acknowledging needs for help weakens our damns when we do, and we can’t give God’s damn! A man’s works aren’t sufficient, can’t stand up to life on own legs, nor are spirits an answer that works, and it’s faith that provides what life needs to find balance, the heart that is lacking if God’s there or not. Faith’s the matter souls float on, necessity’s ark. Facts sufficient, necessity too, means conclusions have meat. (1) A soul (if not real) can’t bear fruit, though its notion’s rad tweet nor do concepts of God, but FAITH IS (more than shot in the dark!) Faith is something that moves us: like hope can, like love beats the odds. Faith’s a lever unseen, with no visible fulcrum, that sides with abstractions of truth as an ocean flesh swims in, or eggs that we walk on when Grace falls from Grace. All faith honor’s “I AM!” If your faith’s God exists (or that’s rot), do you know your faith bleeds? Can faith know what is real? To fault faith is like chasing your tail! I’d say choices are taste: Grace is taste, death as dust! Sweet or dill? Brian Johnston 20th of February in 2021 Poet’s Notes: (1) A theorem is said to be rigorously demonstrated if its logic proves to be both “necessary and sufficient!”
