Trust
Every promise you gave Every word you said, they were all full of lies I trusted you with everything but that just wasn’t enough You never saw how I really felt You never believed a word I said. Really it should have been reversed because you’re the one who never should have been trusted. I lie awake for hours at night I can’t ever sleep I’m afraid You claim you never did anything, but we both know the truth. The look you had when you did it said you would do it again, and you did. I was afraid of you but couldn’t get out. I told you to just let me go but you couldn’t do just that. At this point I don’t think I could trust someone again. That hurts more than anything. I will carry this with me forever and always be afraid it could happen again. To all those who are in or will be in my situation just know, help is not a scary thing. Telling someone isn’t wrong. It’s probably one of the best things you could do for yourself. No one deserves what I went through. If you think you do you’re very wrong.
