Santa's Little Problem
Twas the night before Christmas and Santa was gay he'd drank several bottles of Vodka that day He knew it was wrong to have drunken the booze as he leaned on his sleigh for a half an hour snooze The reindeer were waiting all eager and groomed so fretful and anxious for the big trip that loomed The elves brought the parcels of candy and toys as Santa's loud snoring had caused quite a noise Poor Mrs. Claus was in such a state with visions of Santa starting out late So she ran for the coffee a large steaming cup in hopes that the java would sober him up She tipped the hot brew to his white bearded mouth and yelled in his ear it was time to head south Old Santa's eyes opened as he gulped down the 'joe' and yelled to his reindeer "five more minutes to go" They all took his arms as he climbed in the sleigh and prayed that the old man would get on his way The elves called in Buddy an elf who was "dry" and who promised to get Santa's sleigh in the sky Old Santa smiled as he gave out a 'hick' Merry Xmas to all from a sobered St. Nick
