He’s been a friend of mine so long; I know he prays for me, His faith and praise have been so real—they I do always see! Now, Lord, You know he needs a touch from Your almighty arm For sickness has invaded him and tries to do him harm. I need to hear his shouts again as he sits in his pew, So now, dear Lord, I come to bow and leave it up to You. You know what he means to our church and to his family, His wife, his kids, his grandkids, too, have meant so much to me.
