Even Though You Become As One Who Is Dead
In the midst of battle with every wound I take from double edged swords, wielded from foe, sometimes friends...I realize these people are possessed by a different monster, a monster working through them, one who has been around since this world began. I stagger under the weight of the dragon's steely blows...a dragon who thinks he he's a god, well he sure puts on a good show. Alas, even though I fall, my Lord, my King Jesus raises me up again with just a gentle touch of His hand. When I would want to quit the war when all those around me whether they are friends or foe seem like fool-hardy flesh and bones, my Lord Jesus reminds me what they and I really mean to Him. "Let them wound you , let your blood flow because I will save every drop that you have shed and lock it away safely inside my heart. Even though you become as one who is dead, I will raise you up to live with me again, for you have shown me to be my sister, my true friend...and for us there will be no end when you forever enter my Father's land. The promised land of perfect peace where all will be well forever. There, the true enemy satan will be no more."
