Promise of Love
Was that real?? I raised my head and saw A flower peach in color Real and breathing Yes, she was real I looked her in the eyes Her hands twinged in mine My sight turned towards the ground A shadow in suit embraced one in a long gown As if a Disney prince just met the love of his life Moving my fingers gently through her extended hair I thought, what she was thinking while looking at the moon She seemed to love light While I was always fascinated by dark Our silence annoyed the air A chilling wave of gale blew through us Shivering, she moved her head and hand They were now resting on my chest That serenity, that peace... I can't explain   Can't believe she accepted my proposal, But what now.... hearts beating fast Thinking about future Light and dark, a perfect match? Or a mismatch? How would they get along But why not to trust love In front of which nothing else matter I whispered in her ear She lifted her head up and smiled timidly Then said, let moon and stars be our witness She closed those eyes, as I kissed her softly Moving her lashes with my lips Breathing each other's breath Time paused, as we landed in eternity 7th Sept. 2020
