I Wonder
I wonder why I'm treated like a child, When I left childhood many years ago, I just wonder! They told me, "Youths are the leaders of tomorrow", When the old ones have refused to handle over power to the young bloods or rest in peace. Lies as old as time! I wonder why they call me daily, When one day they will forget the same name, Like I wrote that which was widely irrelevant. I wonder! I still I wonder why they refuse to celebrate and compliment me now, But beside my grave, they will cry blood, Burn candles and burn forests, Testifying of me to the whole world, When I won't be there to hear and see. I wonder why they are killing, betraying, embezzling, marginalizing and underdeveloping... Forgetting that someday, They will all die and decay like an abandoned egg in a refuse dump. Even deep in my heart, I wonder!
