The Mystory Man
MYSTERY MAN A stranger comes in the night; making sure to stay out of sight. He stops at everyone's place being sure you don't see His face; Is what He's doing alright? Should we all take alarm; or does he mean us no harm; Who is this stranger that comes and where in the world is He from; And what has He got in His arms? Perhaps we should let lose the pet, a bite on His pants he will set. He seems to be breaking the rules, the ones that were taught us in schools; And that ride He is ridding stranger yet. No my friends have no fear, for with Him come gifts and good cheer. While we're all asleep in our beds, he gets all dressed up in red; And then He calls to His deer. His deer have been waiting all day; to pull this man and His sleigh; One of the deer’s noses is bright, so He'll be their beacon tonight, So for sure they don't lose their way. From out of His shirt comes a list, as He reads He pulls on His beard with a twist... He stands there and reads real slow and if you've been bad He will know; You have to be good He insists. In a huge bag go presents and toys; for all the good girls and boys; Then he calls to His reindeer to pull His sleigh that's ever so full; And His face is gleaming with joy. Yes my friends it is Him; who’s heart that all children win; While the bells on His sleigh they do ring, it's the spirit of Christmas he brings; For Christmas is here once again. He does have a reason and cause; and there is no need to take pause... By now you've guessed who He is and what is the name of His biz, For we know Him as the Santa Claus. He is a hero to all no matter how big or how small, So this year let's sing Christmas songs; it helps Him as He moves along; As he calls “Merry Christmas to all”.
