Who I Am
Only the dash seems to illuminate the night. You feel the winds chill. As you run through your head all that was right. You smell the honeysuckle and remember her hair. The night understands pain. As I cannot return home and face your no longer there. That radio stations light shines from the tower. I fought against time. Emptyness is the heart that has no power. Maybe the lonley understand pain. Stillness is like death. Im like a hobo chasing after a southbound train. What is water without a dam. Without your love. I struggle to recall who I am. I park in are once favorite place. And dare not look to the backseat. For Ijust might feel the passion of your once fiery embrace. That sunrise is still beutiful. But my false happiness is only a sham. I pray no one ask's. For I no longer know who I am.
