An Evening On the Anping Beach
A free and calm evening You, the Anping beach and me Quiet, cloudy, and lonely Few hampered noises The ocean conquest the entire atmosphere Angry clouds hide the sun No flashlights can replace the sun Clouds are floating to add color to the sunset Too much gathering cover the sun One more day in my life has set before the sunset The gentle and cold wind chilled my shaved face Huge rock block on the shore breaking the exciting waves You can listen to their pain from the roar when they return Darkness grasp the happiness Waves are raising The dry sands are satisfied with the salty water The sand is soft, scattering, and splish-splash between my toes Oyster shells are along the shore I can smell the ocean and feel the grain of sand We walked along the beach Left our footprints on the back I looked back to see my footsteps Few waves gently crashing them in front of my eyes I was helpless. Then the waves kissed my legs Makes me realize I am nothing more than a small sand grain Move on or crash down You are singing death! I hear the breathes and roars A passionate battle between the sources of life When the wave approach towards us, we run away The waves turn back correspondingly for we are unwilling to embrace it Though we like the ocean and beach We often afraid to make our clothes and shoes wet In our life too we recap the same comportment Even though we want someone, we are so scared to hug them We are afraid to acknowledge the love and feeling Not because we are shy, but we are weak Weaker than the sands on the beach The waves break the dirt down Washed ashore, move them up and down In the face of everything, even now they embrace the waves Mollifies and send them back to the ocean Love of sand calms the angry and boisterous waves
