The years passed so quickly in our harmony of hearts, Sixty years -- seems like yesterday's vow: “til death do us part,” Oh Lord I dared not dream that you’d depart, Our golden years. . [Instrumental] . . Now as your mourners sit in silence listen to your elegy, The somber notes of a sonata set us free. Lifting our broken spirits higher, memories of our desire, For your heart and mine still beat as one. . . .
