The Little Man
There’s this little man we had a conversation, spouting this , spewing that, testifying our experiences in the indiscretions of life. As our hysterical, heretical ranting coalesce in the ears of others we became a gathering, reaching resolutions to problems of the masses, improving our own worth. That was when we were struck between the eyes, stopped in our tracks and as our epiphanies dissolved the bellowing began, “What is the meaning of this, under who’s authorization was this done, why are you here?” People started to break off from the fringes but the little man spoke up wondering “Why is it a problem that we gather, we have solutions, we want to be heard.” The ground shook with low rumbling laughter and the little man disappeared as with others to his prior and I ask “Why, why are they scared of solutions we find without permission?”
