Greeting Tomorrow, Today
Here I thought, I would never be someone A formless life, of which I’d never take hold But, here I am, I see there exists A chance for me and a ring made of gold I am alive, I have a voice, I have power I’ll be alright, as I have more than I knew I have struggled, but like now I’ll overcome Because, in me, I’ll now hold myself true There is a light, never formless, though thought so I needed eyes, ones I knew how to use So now I see all the chances, tomorrows And now my life, no, I’ll ever abuse I am a man, I was never quite sure of I had my doubts that success would arrive But, here’s my chance, I did it, I made it I’m looking forward to each day I’m alive As all new dreams, well they’re now in focus I’ll hone my talents; I’ll use them for sure I’ll share myself and the gifts that were given For all tomorrows, who knows what’s in store
