Dream of Change {chain In Couplet Form}
In my dream I hear a sound Sound the alarm all around Around and around we go Go on a journey through the soul Soul and heart do address Address what is on my chest Chest pumped and looking good Good like a block of wood Wood are you to blind to see See that is no longer me Me myself I am free Free from what I used to be Be no less than who you are Are you not like a star? Star that is shining bright Bright like a neon light Light that torch and let it burn Burn your bridges till you learn Learn to let your homeboys know Know that from my life you must all go Go in peace and try to see See the peace inside of me Me myself I now detest Detest these tattoos on my chest The Chain poem uses the last word in the sentence as the first word in the following sentence. {I don't know why it was removed from the poetry forms}. I decided to combine it with the Couplet form. {I guess I was bored}.
