Scam
Pillow thoughts cloud my mind Is life meant to be solo? No matter who you surround yourself with- You’re sure to feel alone Feel the cold the damp cold floor, This thing we called life- It’s a scam If I could rewrite every chapter, every page, I would. I would for my own sanity. The truth is; Life neglects all things- We’re all born to die and yet We run around keeping busy, Staying distracted from our fate No one makes it out alive- So why do stresses define us It’s a sick joke, Something so obvious it stings- Like a spider bite. The itch that never really goes away- Whether it’s the placebo effect Or the reminder that we are all equals. We are all ending up buried in the earth We are only destined to live and die- Our obsessions we call stress And inconsistent believes- Are only going to drive us one way, one direction
