He Remembers You
Oh how sad I feel for you All the pain you must be going through I never got the chance to meet uncle Trevor But the stories you told me I still remember You may not understand God’s plan Why he took this loving man When I called you, hearing how you cry I wish you didn’t have to say Goodbye I know this hurt through losing a father But I cannot imagine what it’s like losing your partner A lifelong companion and best friend I pray to God your heart He’ll mend He may not have remembered much, but this I trust he knew The unconditional love that was shared with him by you I know right now the only thing you want to do is cry Oh I wish you never had to say goodbye Your loving husband is sitting around the throne But know that God will not leave you alone When uncle Trevor went to Heaven today at 2 All his memories came back and he remembers you *Dedicated to a very special lady in my life who lost her husband today. He suffered from Alzheimer and did not recognize her anymore. He developed pneumonia and unfortunately did not make it*
