Poor Me
Poor Me. Roses grow and flourish On my neighbours gardens But I never have any roses All I get is weeds growing on mine The sun always seems to sihne down on others But all I get is rain all the time Never get a valentine card All I ever get is a bill When most people are cosy and warm In their homes I in mine I just get a chill I never take a chance and gamble For I know I’ll never win My relationships are soon over Before they begin I’m the one who always misses the train Come back an hour later To find I've missed it again Children at school did anything they’d want But I always got the blame You can guarantee I’m always last in the queue And instead of finding one rotten apple in a bag I always find two And I attract more flies than girls It’s the ugly ones that do I’;d like to go on acruise But I don’t want the ship to sink I could get a submarine instead But they’d throw me out Because I stink I suppose I was just born unlucky And cursed at birth Made to suffer on the earth Always on the outside looking in About as interesting as a rubbish bin I’m the unluckiest man in the world But does that make me a success?.
