A Wonderful Life
Life is a beauty From the day a baby starts Everyone who knows about them Keeps them in their hearts And when a baby’s born There are tears of joy, From the mother and the father, And their little girls and boys! The baby will grow up soon, So enjoy every night Lit up by the moon. The baby is a toddler now, She sits and stands and speaks, And when she’s happy she has Little rosy cheeks. This toddler is a preschooler now. She is almost reading! Wow! How? In a year, she’s on her way To kindergarten, it’s her first day Her mommy will walk her in school At the end of the day, she loves it! It’s cool! She goes every day Through the end of sixth grade, Her mom says, “Have a great day! Make great grades!” She has some good friends and some bad. And when the bad ones don’t treat her right, they make her sad. But when the good ones lift her up, she feels really glad! It’s her last day of elementary. Goodbye, old friend! She has all summer to enjoy and make lots of plans. In middle school, everything has changed. More homework, more temptations, more classes. She checks her homework with a calculator Every answer always matches. After eighth grade, she goes on to ninth. She still stays pure, she still stays kind. She learns French, German, and Spanish, And then she decided to learn Danish. She’s a senior, looking at college classes Every test at school, she passes. It is almost time for prom, She’s going with a guy named Tom. In a few months, college will start. The girl’s mom says “I love you with all my heart.” The girl loves her too, and she says it with her art. She goes to her dorm, to prepare for her classes, She majors in neurology and minors in taxes. A few years later, she was having fun. She was at a wedding, with a man named Doug. He was a good guy, and he liked giving her hugs. A few months later, on the honeymoon, The couple went to Disney World, And started marriage off with a boom. The not-so-little-anymore girl is a successful doctor now, And Doug sells kittens that say meow. A couple years later, a baby is made It is a boy, and his name is Wayde. He grows up as his parents watch, Along with his little brother, they named him Cade. As they grow, and get degrees in design, Their parents have health that declines. The girl is growing older still, But when she passes away, There is joy and sadness on that day For the girl, who loved the Lord, Went to heaven, where she’d never be bored. Her sons were sad and missed her still Even until She gave them all her will. This is what I think people should agree This is what life should be. At least, I want it to be my story.
