Survivor Mantra
Survivor Mantra April 14, 2019 By LoLa I harmed myself today I offered my soul to another way Its just Another way to live A reason left for me to Give a...nevermind Its not what you may think I didnt find a lonely drink I didnt sink through depths of hell Times when i buy but never sell I take and take I wake and bake It hurts too much to feel it clean Still, what i’ve seen cant be unseen When a sober thought rises up As fallen ashes fill my empty cup All thats left of yesterdays ways Fade in clouds and shades of grey All that’s left are scars of battles waged And the cage i made in a hopeless age I feel so lost without the end in sight I survived the nights of fallen lights The harm leaves no scars anymore I feel the same way today as i did before Where footsteps echo inside my fragile mind I shout my survivor mantra, and take what is mine
