Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required STREAMS April 7, 2019 Intensity Poem The salmon swarm up stream on the sides, minnow flood in in the distance a mother bear hears the splashes I walk through the chaos as water flutters- everywhere I step, wets my boots a bit more. I look down to the water, no reflection, just noise and speed- I'm protected by the water- or so it seemed. I freeze a grizzly standing before me, with its back turned away, ears perked. I slowly try to back up while stretching big and tall Does this even work with Grizzly's? It all slows down, slow motion, the rocks are sliding off of my boots- a boulder half out of the water, catches my calf by surprise and I see my life flash before me, gravity knocks me back to reality and I black out, Am I dead?
