Very First Poetry Soup Convention
New partners at each meal, oh my, what fun! This time its Sarah, Eve and Carolyn. Our entrée is fish, Carolyn caught it. She offered free. The restaurant bought it. Line has pulled the Convention together Everything's perfect, including weather. John has read the inspired invocation. We're all on the program in rotation. My attention now, is on these three friends. Who have all given me love with out ends. They are as I pictured, pretty and sweet, Eagerly waiting the others to meet. Now, that I've met them, I'm suddenly shy. They're so talented, I'm wondering why, They have time to spend with eldest one here. They include me because, they are so dear. When meeting's over and time for goodbye, We'll have made friends 'til the day that we die. In four days we will meet all the others We'll be as close as sisters and brothers.
