The Dreamer
Tears fall like rain from his eyes, trying hard to drown his sorrow, Where once there were clear blue skies, now left facing another gray tomorrow, Left feeling alone and empty once more, The Dreamer stands with his heart in his hands, as another love walks out the door, A flame that once burned vibrant and strong, has now become just a dying ember, A heart that sang a joyous song, now as cold as the snow in December, Left behind now just another memory, The Dreamer cries, As he tries, to hold onto his dream, A man once so full of joy and love, who cherished each and every tomorrow, Now stares at the rain clouds up above, and tries to hold back his sorrow, He gave his heart to a love so true, truly the best he had ever known, The Dreamer goes on as tine goes on, in our memories he will always roam.
