That stand and rest at this time of ease With no one to impress, or even to please. They stand naked now, everything else gone with the autumn breeze. They've let the past go and have nothing to grieve. I look upon these magnificent, standing, inspirational trees. Not with sadness for their loss, but with an element of glee.
