I can hear Granny yelling, she's calling me from the kitchen, as I'm outside in the driveway walking towards the garage door. Then I, here Granny say, "David, come in here, hurry". As I, rush in to the house, then slide across the kitchen floor and make my way through the living room to, find Granny talking, to some one, who really isn't there. "Would you please, tell these kids to stop running every where, ask them, not to sit on the coffee table. I don't want them jumping around or acting funny. I'm afraid, one of them might get hurt, that coffe table cost alot of money. Then, as if, none of, this ever occurred, She said, "David, guess who this is, don't you remember her". She looked at me with, a blank face and said, "She's, Abes little girl, Rebecca, hugging firmly at the air. Grandma pulls her in and gives her a big kiss, on the side of her face, then mumbles, "Grandma loves you". She then points to the left and say's, "There's his boy, Danny",would you look how big he is. "Go play outside". She yells, to kids who aren't there. Nervous, I agreed with what, she asked and sent the kids outside. Going along with her. I said, Granny my kids are here too, look out there on the steps. She looks at the door, then says, "you kids come on in here". Why, did you leave them out there on the steps. She begins to scold me, "don't you know it is'nt safe." Then as if, none of this just occurred, she looks at me very. pleasantly, smiles confused, then tears and says, "Who did you say you were again" then sits and bows her head. Granny, then says to me, "I don't know what's wrong, do you think, I'm going crazy." No! I said, " you were just remembering a good day, we had. It's like dreaming while you're awake. Don't worry Granny, everything's fine you're not crazy, you're doing okay, I'll be here for you, by your side I'll stay. Dedicated To: Jennie Rodriquez ( My Granny)
