You were mad, too, but I didn't care, it was your fault, I was sure of it, and you were sure it was mine. An empty parking lot was a dumb place to crash, and a dumber place to crash again. And after first contact, we had rammed each other so many times, and with such murderous intent, it was a wonder our mangled vehicles could carry us anywhere at all. We were lucky to be alive ourselves. We might not be for much longer, though. The movement toward each other, toward an insane, hateful frenzy of insane, hateful hammers and nails, was sure to leave one of us dead. It might kill us both, I almost hoped it would kill me.
