October 11, 2008
On this day, October 11, 2008, I think of you, I wonder why, things are the way they are, I wonder why this world of ours is not a better place, I wonder why we have let this world get into the shape it is in. Then I hear a bird singing, without a care in the world. He is strong, he knows what has to be done, He knows what he has to do each and every day, He knows if he doesn't do certain things, he will not survive. He knows that every day he has to get back on that diving board, The one above the pool of happiness, Then he has to make a choice. Does he dive in head first into that sea of happiness and bliss, Or does he turn and walk away from what could have been a wonderful day. I do hope all of you, my wonderful friends, Will dive into that pool of life, where happiness is found every day. Enjoy this day and every day to come. Make the best of what lies ahead of each and every one of us. Don't get so wrapped up in the things you cannot change, But strive to make this a better day for yourself and for no other but yourself. Tomorrow is another day, a day for doing all those things we hate to do. Don't worry about the economy? Don't worry about how you are going to feed the rest of the world? Let them worry about themselves. Today is your day, Today you start living again. If a man takes a fruit from the tree, there has to be a good reason. Enjoy the fruit of the vine, Enjoy being happy on this day, Enjoy being you, Don't turn and walk away, but dive into that pool of happiness. I wish each and every one of you, friend or foe, joy, and happiness, I wish you the best day you could ever wish for, On this day: October 11, 2008
