The Unspoken Friend
I want, but I can't have, I hurt and am sometimes sad.. I feel inside, but still I hide, what it is, I'am trying to say I walk around like I'm not alive, trying to figure out what went wrong. How someone like me could have gone so long with out noticing how much pain you were in... It wasn't much to ask, but you didn't. It wasn't too hard to see, but I couldn't. The only one you had left in this world was me, If I had only taken the time to notice, then maybe I would have seen, just how much pain you were actually in... If I would have only been there for you, helping to control you, I might of notice, that I was being misled. Some how, I feel I could have made a difference, If I would have taken a moment just to listen, Maybe then you'd still be here instead of dead. Please find it in your soul to forgive me Spread wide your wings and let the bugles begin too ring. I'd rather be up there where your at, flying around in heaven, dancing on the wind, Instead of here, on earth as the unspoken friend.....
