Roadblock after roadblock staring at me hard. With no money down- now that’s a joke. Trying my best to get by like other folks. Still wanting me to put more cash in their hands. This deal’s not working out like my Sedona Van. Bank after bank now turning me down. So much harder the second time around. Keep your payments on time is all I can say. Or they will turn their head and look the other way. Waiting “There” to hear the final outcome. It’s getting me down but not for long. As I write this poem I’m saying my prayers. People walking by now giving me stares. Now it’s my turn to seat in the chair. The officer smiles and takes out his pen. I signed on the lines and he gave me the keys.
