The Fallen
Little did I know, we will never see each other again For I was roaming with my heart on my sleeve and you, you bent yours into little pieces , cajoling my heart, my body, my soul. Little did I know, you'll fly above the city and never return. For I was standing here, waiting, in the greens and yellows of that swing you built only to realise, all this while, you coloured me blind. Little did I know, life would get in our way and we'll abandon one another. For I was, there, holding on to a memory that wasn't ours. With each body part that we embraced, heart never got in our way. Little did I know, the forever was 1 year and 2 days, And you decided to end it all alone and leave me here amongst the mortals, just a memory, a thought, forever mine to cherish.
