The Looking Glass
The Looking Glass I look into the mirror, but it's a looking glass instead. Visions start to grow, from inside of my head. I seem to break free, from my hold with the past. Uncetainty grows, wonder how long will it last? The reflection, becomes the mirror to my soul, I seem to find a ladder,to climb up from this hole. The day starts to slow, yet continues to grow, Then things just disappear, wonder where they go? Sailing off,to some distant shore, Seeing the other side, because I wanted it more. Although I feel like a stranger,in a strange land, I feel quite at peace,I can see who I am........ Sometimes the visions begin to sour, The sky turns gray,it looks like a shower? The rain starts to fall,I'm getting rather wet, There's seems to be so much, just riding on a bet. But the sun soon returns,to bring hope back to the day. The things I saw before,I see a different way. I look back at the mirror, but there's just me. When you look in the mirror, you never know what you'll see..........
