Deceived
I loved you, but you deceived me, I trusted you, and you still hurt me, you knew my past, you knew my pain, you promised that I, would never hurt again, you held my heart, like you held my hand, you let it drop, over and over again, like glass it broke, shattered on the floor, I glued it together, always just once more, those nights I cried, I did not cry for you, I cried for myself, and the pain you put me through, I should never have loved you, or trusted a single word, I should've seen this coming, I should've known I'd get hurt, But I am stronger now, more than i ever was, although I've shed some tears, and I've shed some blood, the scars remain, but they make me brave, they remind me daily, that I'm nobody's slave, I've made it through this, with a few cuts and bruises, but I made it through alive, so I'm not the one who loses, your words hurt then, but now I see through them, your voice fades away, till its just an illusion.
