Our futile attempt to equal the creator
In wielding unfathomable might to shape life and bequeath desire
Have sculpted the face of who we truly mirror
Amid dreams and nightmares distinct and overwhelmingly bizarre
The shadow of existence is as universal as water vapor
Angels and demons and planets and stars of the same dust we are
