Ch’i- Yen-Shih
A Chinese form of poetry with four lines of seven ( 7 ) syllables each. Only lines 2 and 4 rhyme. Please note:  each line has a break after the 4th syllable for musicality’s sake. Only words with one syllable must be used.

 

trees tend to blush - once they're kissed by Jack frost's lips - cold as ice late in the night - red dyes bleed and blood stained leaves - pay the price bare trees stand nude - in the woods stripped of their leaves - by a breeze as the wind whips - through a veil of dried out twigs - with such ease (Double Ch’i- Yen-Shih) 08,25,20
