I ponder going to the grave without ever tasting the psychedelic ecstasy, Without diving into the vibrant tapestry of existence, like a poet who never learned the language of the soul, It seems life has never been fully embraced, a half-painted canvas, a song left unsung. To miss this primordial communion seems as tragic as living without the intimacy of love, Without ever understanding the complex patterns woven into the fabric of our nature. The body, a temple of wonders, hides within it the secrets of the cosmos, Every heartbeat a ticking of the universe, every breath a testament to our connection with all that is. Yet, so many walk this earth with numbed senses, their spirit encased, Unaware that the key to the great mysteries lies within their earthly vessel, A life lived in the absence of this divine revelation is a life shadowed, diminished, denied. In the sinister stillness of the night, under a canopy of silent stars, I feel the weight of unrealized potential, an unspoken longing, a thirst for depth. For life, without the psychedelic journey of the shaman's vision, is life trivialized, A mere echo of its true potential, enslaved to the mundane whims of the ego, prisoner to superficial pursuits. Thoughts flow like rivers through my consciousness, winding through valleys of missed opportunities, peaks of fleeting joys, I see visions of those who have danced with the infinite, their spirits illuminated by sacred light, Their laughter echoing through the sacred groves of ancient forests, their souls entwined with the essence of nature itself. They have unlocked the door to deep understanding, flown beyond the veil of illusion, Into realms where body and cosmos are one, where the dance of atoms reveals the dance of stars. And yet, here I remain, meditating on the untrodden path, the unopened door, Wondering if I've wasted precious breaths, if the song of my soul is but a whisper in the symphony of life. For the shaman within me lies asleep, the psychedelic dream a distant echo, And I stand on the brink of the grave, knowing that to miss this experience Is like having lived only half a life, seeing only shadows on the cave walls. In the realm of my thoughts, I imagine surrendering to the psychedelic embrace, Allowing the kaleidoscope of existence to unfold before my eyes, To perceive unity in diversity, depth in the everyday, To feel my body melt into the soil, my spirit soaring with the wind, Experiencing sublime unity with nature, understanding the language of the cosmos. But as the mantle of night falls heavier, and the burden of regret weighs, I decide that perhaps, in another time, in another place, I will seek that elusive transcendence, To not let life be trivialized, denied, enslaved, but to embrace the mystical dance Between body and universe, feeling every nuance, every whisper, every touch, For in that sacred union lies the true essence of our existence, A poetry of flesh and divine, intertwined, eternal.
